Shoes and boots in this category are considered to be used with a light to medium weight pack. Hiking in turn is divided into sub-groups Core and Performance.
Common features are a focus on lower weight with maintained stability and good protection against the elements. All shoes are equipped with Gore-Tex®, either Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort Technology or Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort Technology, depending on which characteristics you would like
