Softshell

Haglöf has a generous soft shell collection that includes three different series. One made of Windstopper® Soft Shell, one made of Polartec® Power Shield® and one made of Haglöf’s own soft shell fabric, FlexAble®. This allows users to choose between garments with somewhat different characteristics depending on the fabric’s construction.

If extremely high resistance to wind and water is a top priority for you, Windstopper® Soft Shell is perfect. Excellent options for those who value maximum stretch and breathability are FlexAble® or Polartec® Power Shield.

FABRICS: POLARTEC® POWER SHIELD® 781

A midweight durable and supple soft shell fabric with great comfort and stretch. Bonded (no film) construction incorporates the system of shell and insulation in one fabric with excellent breathability and weather protection through a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treated surface. The backer is a micro fleece grid backer fabric with great thermal capacity and low bulk.

FABRICS: WINDSTOPPER® SOFT SHELL 470

A midweight Windstopper Soft Shell fabric. Incorporates the system of shell and light insulation in one fabric. The smooth and supple knitted face offers good abrasion resistance. Windproof with a water repellent surface (DWR treated). The soft knitted backer offers next-to-skin comfort with great moisture management. Other attributes include great stretch and breathability.
